I have been working with Tyler at blend studio for 2 years now, and it has been a pivotal time in my career. When I came to blend I was burnt out and discouraged, she was so eager to help get me back on my feet. I was looking for a salon that I could be an Independent stylist, and run my business while still have the team mentality and community with the other stylists. I was also looking to continue my education and to have the tools to expand my extension clientele. Blend has all of that and more. Having a full back stock of hair, that was good, reliable and consistent both in colors and quality at the salon, was such a game changer for my business , it has opened up so many opportunities that I wouldn’t have had if I had to source hair from elsewhere. As well as the stock of hair, there is continued education and classes on extension methods and techniques, in addition to a minimum of two large photo shoots a year to get content for our business and for the extensions, all for us stylists to use for marketing. My business and clientele is very sustainable and thriving since making the leap to be partners with Tyler and blend studio. There is so much opportunity for growth and to turn your ideas into reality. Tyler is always there to help with anything I need and to answer any questions I have, and not just about blend hair extensions but any question that I might have she is always happy to help me sort it out. Where do I begin?! My Journey with Blend has truly been one of the best decisions of my Career. Tyler has created a fun and safe space for independent stylists to be apart of a small elite group, who inspire, support and empower each other. Not only professionally, but on a personal level as well. Tyler and the whole collective has elevated my career in so many ways to even count! Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for talented stylists to join our team as affiliate artists. We want amazing stylists who care about the quality of service they provide their clients. Say you’ve been working as a licensed hairstylist who specializes in hair extensions. You’ve been in the industry for two to eight years and you really know your stuff. The thing is, you’re constantly facing challenges like:
Hair extensions with subpar quality
Bland hair extension colors that tone out badly
Working with products that don’t cut it in general
no freedom to create your own colors
Just a sale from a huge company and your looking for support or connection
“But I have my own install methods or i paid a ton to get “certified” but i’m open to a different community and education.” you might wonder.
No problem. We’d still love to have the opportunity to work with you and further enhance your talent and skills in hairstyling. We’re looking to onboard and train a maximum of four stylists per state or at least one stylist per city. This will ensure the Blend will stay small and elite with the maximum amount of support and no conflicting interests.

We want to team up, collaborate, and grow. most importantly we want to have fun while doing it. You don’t need to be a licensed hair stylist to have a part in this, you don’t need to work at blend to be a part of this. We are working together to build a community of support.
